Brahmas finally make roster move

Larose finally did something in the way of roster moves by trading oft injured and low scoring Matt Coughlin to Wichita in return for Ryan Faibarn. Fairbarn is an offensive defenseman, something the Brahmas have needed.
With the Rayz owner's threat to trade the team - except for Bernie John - maybe the Brahmas can do a deal with them. In fact, rumor has them doing just that, or at least working on it. How bad would the B's like to have McGiver and Legault? I would gladly give up Gustavson, Lee, or maybe even DeCecco for those two. The Rayz might have to throw in Frick though. Hopefully things will come together soon.

Put them out of their misery

The Brahmas should be euthanized. Larose is now 1-4 and heading south in a hurry. The team is too small to stand up to the poundings administered by bigger and faster opponents. What was Sims thinking when he assembled this team? And why hasn't Larose made some player moves? Is Barack preventing him from doing so? Someone must be accountable for year after year of bad hockey. Rumors abound the club will either fold or move at the end of the season. Attendance is down and Bball has nothing to do with it. If the rumors are true, it could be the best thing to happen to Fort Worth hockey in a decade. The CHL wouldn't let this market be vacant very long and would plug the hole quickly.
For sure this team is locked in to the cellar spot for the season. Larose is the latest coach to face the fact that he can do nothing to change the situation. Wise up, folks; it ain't the coaching - - it's the management and ownership. Hopefully they will pull out and the sooner the better for FW hockey!

MERRY CHRISTMAS!

May Santa Clause bring the Brahmas:
1. A power play
2. A goal scorer
3. An enforcer
4. Chad Wollard
5. Steve Martinson for a winning coach

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good night!

Larose

Well, Barack goes out and finds another coach living in the neighborhood. Larose should have stayed with his real job, selling real estate. Wonder why Barack didn't turn the reins over to Brady? At least he has been coaching for a living and should have learned something good from Inglis and Sims. Over on Brahmas.net someone posted that an all-star would soon be back. Well, that wouldn't be Adam Davis so it must be Woollard. Brahmas can use his firpower, that's for sure!

Sims Firing

It's Christmas so it must be time for Barack to fire another coach. Yep - Sims is gone. When will the owners wise up and realize the problem doesn't lie with the coaches - it's the GM. I mean, come on - you would think Barack would get it right after how many hires - 4, maybe 5?
Sims should never have been rehired for this season. He couldn't win last season even with an NHL'er (whom he ran off early on). He should consider going into real estate or car sales because he sure can't coach hockey. Greg Rajan http://blogs.caller.com/rajan/ has an interesting blog on Sims and Barack. Check it out.
